Relationships. Who wants one!
Relationships, who want one? Most times when the heart is young and inexperienced is when love comes to educate about the affairs of the heart. Relationships pose little interest to me. One, because after experiencing relationships I can see the flaws in the misconception. Females are more relationship-driven now than males. Males are driven, but they realize now that they don’t have to work that hard in relationships because the female is the fixer. Desperate women do desperate things! Females tend to settle for a lot less
I was talking with my daughter about her relationship with her boyfriend and she was saying that she wanted to take him out on a date (a picnic). I truly didn’t have a problem with it until it would cost me to sport him, then it was a problem for me. I do believe that if a guy wants to take me out, he should get the bill and if I ask him out (which I want you to know that will NEVER happen), but if it did, I would be willing to split the bill. But now, females will pay the bill. My bible says when a man finds a wife he finds a good thing, not when a woman finds a man. Be careful of what you are getting into because it doesn’t say Sunkist, you don’t know what you are getting. We often wonder why relationships end so quickly, well I believe because the female is seeking out the relationship instead of allowing the man to take the lead. I wonder what message are we sending our daughters? How can we be better equipped to enter a relationship when we are so broken? Broken from childhood wounds, broken relationships with our parents, broken intimate relationships, and disappointed by my best friend, no wonder we question our commitment.
Take care of yourself, love self and be good to yourself, if you want to know how to be in a relationship and how to nurture each other because until you learn to self you will never understand how to love someone. There’s a population among us who buy and sell their love. Every heard of Catfish, cheaters; etc. Let’s not even get started about those boys in Nigeria. They sell American women’s body parts. They sell this illusion that the American woman is in a full relationship only to start begging for money. Here are the things, most American women send the money. Oh, we have them here in America also, every watch Dr. Phil when you see these older people being taken for every dime they have, pitiful! Just food for thought – don’t be so desperate to love until you miss all of the warning signs. Take care until we talk again.
